Does Distinctive Home Tours create my tours?
If you would like us to create your tours sign up for our full service feature. Our most econonmical
method allows you to create your own tours. Distinctive Home Tours provides an online system that makes it easy for you to
build tours yourself. If you can take photographs and log in to the interent, you'll

How do I get started?
You will need any computer with any 4.0 or higher web browser and
any digital camera, or a regular camera and scanner. Log on to your account by clicking here. Choose

How long will you host my Distinctive Home Tours virtual tour?
If you sign up for our subscription service, you have complete control over your virtual tours. They are
available as long as your subscription is active. If you sign up for a single virtual tour, this tour will
be active for 1 year and can be renewed for an additional $39.95.

Are 360° images available in my Distinctive Home Tours tours?
No. Distinctive Home Tours does offer three different tour templates. Our "Video" and "Broadcast" templates
offer panning images that do not require complete 360° views. This allows you to focus on the strengths of your listing.

Do I need to use a video camera?
No. All of the images were taken with a regular still digital camera.

How do I create panoramic images?
Panoramic images are created by cropping your images. For images to pan horizontally they need to be resized or cropped to 850 pixels wide by 480 pixels
tall. For images to pan vertically they need to be cropped to 640 pixels wide by 750 pixels tall.
Images can also be cropped to 640 pixels by 480 pixels to appear as a still image. If the
uploaded image does not conform to any of these sizes it will automatically be cropped to 640 pixels by 480 pixels.
This guarantees your images will work everytime.

Do I have to crop my photographs?
If you do not want to crop your image simply upload the original and it will be automatically be cropped to 640 pixels by 480 pixels.

How many images can I have in one tour?
Every tour can hold upto 999 images. We recommend 12 to 16 images depending on the size of your listing.

What type of digital camera can I use?
All digital cameras or scanners will work with our system. Purchasing an expensive digital camera
is not necessary.

How long does it normally take to create a tour?
Typically 30 minutes or less, not including taking the photos or traveling

Is my tour posted to my site?
Your tour is posted on the Distinctive Home Tours server. However,
the tours are linked directly to your site, and appear to be hosted
on your site as well.
